Il Papa attuale e’ Benedetto XVI. Il Papa e’ il leader spirituale di tutti i cattolici nel mondo, che attualmente contano oltre un miliardo di persone, rappresentanti circa la met?dei 2,1 miliardi di cristiani nel mondo
Il Papa risiede nella Citt?del Vaticano, stato indipendente situato nel centro di Roma e riconosciuto dalla diplomazia internazionale come Santa Sede.
